Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Target Student Media Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit this website, contact us, or submit an enquiry through one of our country-specific student websites or social media pages.
Who we are
Target Student Media Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 8679918). Our registered office is 476 St Albans Rd, Watford, Herts, WD24 6QU, UK. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
What information we collect
When an institution submits our contact/enquiry form, we collect the name, email address, institution name, market(s) of interest and any message details provided. When a student submits a data-capture form on one of our country websites or social media pages, we collect the details they provide (typically name, email and course interest) so that we can pass the enquiry to the relevant institution.
We do not collect payment details through this website.
How we use your information
We use the information institutions provide to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and deliver our profile and marketing services. We use student enquiry details solely to forward the lead to the institution(s) the student expressed interest in, as part of the service we provide to our client institutions.
We do not use your information for unrelated marketing purposes without your consent, and we never sell personal data to third parties.
Sharing your information
Student enquiry details are shared with the client institution(s) the student's enquiry relates to — this is the core purpose of the enquiry service. Beyond this, we do not share personal data with third parties except where necessary to operate our service, such as trusted providers used to process form submissions or host our websites, who are required to handle data securely and only for that purpose.
Cookies and third-party services
Our country websites include Facebook and Instagram page integrations and social sharing tools, which may set cookies in line with Meta's own privacy policies. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts to display text correctly; this involves your browser connecting to Google's servers, which may receive your IP address as part of that standard technical request.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and customer data only for as long as necessary to respond to enquiries, deliver our services, and meet our legal or accounting obligations, after which it is securely deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data
- Restrict or object to how we use your data
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been mishandled.
